Lakki Marwat: A terrorist was killed while three personnel of the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) sustained injuries in an encounter in the precincts of Seria Naurang Police Station on Tuesday, a police official said.
Talking to Daily Times, police spokesman Shahid Hameed said that CTD Sub-inspector Aslam Khan, Head Constable Siddique Khan and Constable Waheed Khan encountered a terrorist identified as Shafiqur Rehman at Nalichak village. He said that the terrorist opened fire on the CTD personnel, which was retaliated by the CTD personnel, killing him on the spot. All three CTD personnel were also injured in the clash, he said, adding that a Kalashnikov and a pistol were also seized.
The injured were shifted to the Civil Hospital Serai Naurang. He said that the terrorist was involved in target killings.
