TIMERGARA: Former Lower Dir district education officer and prominent educationist Abdur Rahman died on Sunday due to a cardiac arrest.
The deceased was buried at his ancestral graveyard at Moranai. A large number of people from all segments of life attended his funeral prayer.
Abdur Rehman will be remembered for his services to education in Lower Dir.
Even after retirement as district education officer, he was active in promoting education in the area.
