ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for States and Frontier Regions Abdul Qadir Baloch has said that there is no logic for fallacious protest against the government, led by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
Talking to the state-run Pakistan Television, he said that people were tired the politics of agitation of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and rejected its leadership in bye elections and in local bodies also. He said that the PTI chairman did not succeeded for gaining popularity among the masses through leveling baseless allegations against the government and its leadership.
Although Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif name was not mentioned in the Panama Papers but he (Imran) presented him and his family for accountability, Baloch said. The opposition just wants to de-stabilise the PML-N government and targeting to the prime minister, he added.
He said that people have no concerns with Panama Papers and they were not protesting on this issue. “Some opposition parties are trying to use Panama Papers for just political point scoring,” he said. We could not give the permission to anyone for imposing wish on the government,” he said.
